Hopefully we will have a lot of out of state Mustang fans tune in tonight to see what kind of team Enfield has brought in for 2024-25

Because of a leak in the roof at Moody Coliseum, the women's game (final score: SMU 77, North Carolina A&T 64) was played in the Crum practice center.

The situation has been resolved, and the SMU and Tarleton State men's teams are warming up in Moody.

Tarleton State went 25-10 last year.

Like many teams, the Texans have undergone a complete overhaul of the roster since last year: their top returning scorer is 6-7 sophomore Bubu Benjamin ... who was the No. 10 scorer on the TSU roster last year, averaging 2.8 points per game.

Two SMU freshmen, 6-11 forward Mitchell Holmes and 7-2 center Samet Yiğitoğlu, are not in uniform while their teammates warm up. Head coach Andy Enfield said SMU is still working to get Yiğitoğlu's eligibility squared away.
