Loved the effort and fight they gave in these 2 games, and I’m proud of them. They couldn’t hit the shots at the end to win it, but they gave the tigers all they could handle and then some. We should get a high NIT seed playing at home.

On all the replays, the last body part you could clearly see touch the ball was the right foot of Clemson #1. Everything after that is pure speculation, in which case you go with the call on the floor. I think the refs just wanted to avoid OT.

I live in a single-family detached dwelling, with lots of space between my house and the two closest houses. But I’m pretty sure my neighbors know how I felt about that replay reversal.

Hard fought game last night and our guys matched Clemson's defensive intensity all night long. Very few uncontested shots in this game but give Clemson credit for making this a half court game which is just not really our style. Credit our guys for competing to the end in that slugfest. Cross threw in one 3 point bomb but we just couldn't make threes to spread the floor and that is a big part of our game. Not many transition buckets last night and the bottom line is that we aren't going to win a lot of games when we can't score 60 points (road win at Virginia comes to mind where it took a buzzer beater from Boopie to pull that one out). This team went 3-6 in games where they didn't score 70 points and I just don't remember our guys getting any wide open threes or uncontested opportunities in the paint like we usually see when we can get stops and run the floor.

The announcers said their producer blew up the video and it did hit Cross according to the producer. I went to bed (eastern time) after that, so if they showed it on the postgame, I never saw the actual blown-up replay. It certainly looked to me like it hit the Clemson players foot and Cross just missed it. 1-14 from three and one missed front end of a 1-1 late though would have probably changed the final score. 1 more three or making that 1-1 and we probably would have won that game. It was that close. Great fight in a physical game. I suspect Klemson will be tired today when they face Louisville.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I didn’t see a blown up video but I agree w/y’all. I don’t think Cross touched the ball. Watching the replays it looked like his hand went behind the ball. I also think if he had touched it the ball would’ve changed direction. When they went to review I told my husband they would give it to Clemson.

As far as I know, no one but the officials saw the blown-up video. Very sus. I stand by my assertion that the refs just didn't want to have to do OT.

Agree. And by the way, there was indisputable video evidence that the “goaltending” call was actually a clean block. Weirdly, it happened twice against Duke today and one was corrected, after the first one wasn’t. Refs are stacking it.

Yeah I was shocked to learn that the goaltending call wasn't overturned. That one seemed obvious.
