Well, Carolina beat expectations. I'm surprised McNeese rallied so much around their "coach"*, and that was not the same Klempson who couldn't miss in Moody. Weird times. Beat Okie State.

Posted: Thu Mar 20, 2025 6:26 pmClemson scored 29 points in the first 32 minutes of the game, and 38 points in the last 8 minutes. Crazy.
I thought that dunk near the end by Shumate that put McNeese up by 12 was just the cherry on top, but it turned out to be the difference in the game!

Posted: Thu Mar 20, 2025 7:07 pmIt seems like every year there is a 12 seed upsetting a 5 seed and you could see this one coming. McNeese played Alabama and Mississippi State close and beat UNT in their non-conference games and rolled through the Southland. They had a lot of experience on that team and we all know the ACC was not a very strong conference this year so this one is not a shocker to me. Shame on Clemson is they took this team lightly.
