The former SMU star has signed with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet in Belgrade, Serbia.
Last season, he helped Valencia reach the BKT EuroCup Semifinals with 11.4 points on 42.7% three-point shooting, along with 3.5 rebounds per game. In the Spanish League, where the team reached the playoff finals, Ojeleye had 10.5 points and 2.9 rebounds.
The last time Ojeleye played in the EuroLeague, the 2023-24 campaign with Valencia, he was team's top performer with 13.3 points and 4.4 rebounds. He ranked eighth in the league in three-point accuracy at 47.1% and was 17th in scoring.
That was his second season in the EuroLeague after Ojeleye debuted with Virtus Bologna the year before.
Before entering the EuroLeague, Ojeleye played five seasons in the NBA with the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers. He helped Boston reach the conference finals in both 2018 and 2020. Ojeleye played college basketball at Duke and Southern Methodist University. He was the American Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2017 when he led SMU to win the conference tournament. He helped Virtus reach the Italian League and the Italian Cup finals in his lone season there.
