Lisa Dark Promoted to Associate Head Coach for Women's Basketball
Dark Begins 15th Season of Coaching This Fall

DALLAS (SMU) - SMU women’s basketball head coach Rhonda Rompola announced Monday that she has promoted Lisa Dark to Associate Head Coach effective immediately. Dark's experience as a former SMU player and as assistant coach to Rhonda Rompola has been an integral part of the Mustangs' success the past 14 seasons.
“I am very pleased to promote Lisa,†states Rompola. “Her 14 years of experience and loyalty to the program makes her deserving of this promotion.â€
Dark earned her Bachelor's degree in English from SMU in 1991 and her Master's of Liberal Arts degree from SMU in 1993. She is a graduate of Lee High School in Tyler, Texas.
