M-Soccer: Exhibition Season

Postby DanFreibergerForHeisman » Fri Aug 15, 2014 7:16 pm

SMU has the first of three home exhibitions Sunday night at Westcott Field. The first game is against Houston Baptist at 7:30pm.

The Mustangs face UT-Dallas Wednesday night at 7:30pm and Incarnate Word at 5:30pm next Saturday.

There will be a lot to see here. A quick look through the roster reveals a lot of changes...

I realize this is a preseason game, but we should be able to beat houston baptist with a team full of bench players. It's really sad and frustrating to see the state of SMU Men's soccer program compared to what we were and where we should be. It's not like we're competing against power schools in texas for the top recruits.

MM- totally agree. Unfortunately casper is like honey badger and doesn't give a sh!tt when it comes to men's soccer. Changes should have been made a couple of years ago but all we hear is crickets.
