Cross Country: SMU Starts 2014 Ranked No. 22

The SMU cross country team is ranked No. 22 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association preseason poll.

The Mustangs are also ranked No. 2 in the South Central region.

Karoline Skatteboe won the Bear Twilight Invitational and SMU finshed second overall!

Agnes Sjöström and Holly Archer also finished in the top ten.

Good job. I saw a little bit of the race by video. I don't know where Baylor's (probably #1) runner was, Rachel Johnson (Plano SHS grad). She finished USA Champs in 5th this year and NCAA Champs in 3rd in the steeple. She is one of the local girls that I wanted to go to SMU but Todd got her. She's really improving well in the 3, 5 and St.
