SMU finished third.

Tulsa is the champion and UConn came in second.

Individually, Agnes Sjostrom finished fourth, Shanoah Souza was seventh, and Holly Archer was ninth.

Bo Waggoner said that these are the women's teams that are going to the NCAA Championship.

I hope SMU can get a girl in as an individual.

I'm tired of SMU's weak running teams. They need to step up the program at ol' SMU.

Didn't the team make nationals last year?

Yes, these are the individuals according to Bo Waggoner.

Individual Qualifiers
3 Agnes Sjostrom SO SMU 6:49.5 2 20:11.0 3
5 Cali Roper SO Rice 6:49.6 3 20:14.0 5
8 Hillary Montgomery SR Texas A&M 6:49.9 20:17.2 8
9 Grace Fletcher SR Texas A&M 6:49.6 3 20:19.6 9
Comments: We knew going in that this was likely to be a two-bid region and that’s how it played out. SMU would have had a shot at an at-large spot but for some upsets in other regions (notably William & Mary in the Southeast).

That's how I remember it. But anyway, the South Central region is usually the weakest region so it is one reason I expect to make NCAAs every year. I have high expectations in sports!
