Dishkova Announced As 2015 ITA Scholar Athlete

DALLAS (SMU) -- SMU women's tennis player, rising senior Hristina Dishkova, was named a 2015 ITA Scholar Athlete, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Monday.
It is the third consecutive year that Dishkova has received the honor.
In order to be recognized as an ITA Scholar Athlete, the player must have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 for the current academic year, be a letterwinner and must be enrolled at their school for at least two semesters.
Dishkova had a breakout season for the Mustangs as she was named to the All-American Athletic Conference team. The native of Germany finished with 22 singles victories and was part of a doubles pairing with Holly Verner that broke the school record with 26 wins.
