It's PGA week but meanwhile after 2 rounds at Web.com tourney in Missouri this week, Kelly is at 11 under and currently tied for 7th, 5 shots off the lead

He still has locked up a PGA Tour card...hopefully he can improve his ranking during web.com playoffs

strong 4th round gave Kelly another $20k paycheck last week and he is currently at # 7 on web.com money list. With top 25 finishers earning their cards, he certainly appears to be a lock with $80k buffer between him and # 26

Just saw on Golf Channel that the median income on web tour is 28k (avg 58k). That jump to the pga tour is huge. So glad for him to get his chance at the big money.

To be clear, the top 25 already have their cards for next year. They all keep adding points through the playoff and the top overall from that group is fully exempt on tour. It's the next 25 who are still up for grabs.

Kelly at minus 5 through 1st two rounds of web.com event in Indiana this weekend. Stronger field than usual as it includes the top web.com guys and others from PGA tour who are just outside the top 125 money winners. Kelly is currently T-17 and 6 shots off the lead

among the notables playing in Indiana this weekend are: Lucas Glover, Ricky Barnes, Robert Garrigus and Robert Allenby, although Allenby WD after a bad 1st round. Must have had a rough night in a local bar and couldn't make his tee time...or maybe he was kidnapped. I know...that was insensitive.

plus 5 third round has Kelly near the bottom of the pack...at least he made the cut against a stronger field than what he has faced most of this season
