SMU sitting in 4th place after round one as one of only 4 teams that shot under par today. William Sides lead with 4 birdies during his 2 under round while Areen Aggarwal had 5 birdies but finished only one under. As a team our guys had 17 birdies today against only one double bogey. Sides is T-6th and 5 shots off the individual lead

Plus 10 2nd round drops our guys to 8 over and into 7th place just 4 shots behind the 5th place team (Ga Tech). Zach Kingsland lead today with a one under round but everybody else had at least one double or triple bogey as part of their round today

SMU playing it's back nine and has fallen 7 shots behind Ga Tech for the 5th spot so unless our guys catch fire they will not be moving on to the NCAA Championship. Zach Kingsland is one of eleven players under par for this event. Auburn has 4 guys under par on their home course and the Tigers are running away from the field
