Women's Soccer Picture on SMU Website

Can someone explain to me why the women's soccer team have their backs to the camera. That is a truly wierd picture. Nice posteriors. Not the kind of message we want to send.

I'm glad someone else saw that. What a ridiculous picture. Were they really trying to include a picture of the scoreboard? Was that the draw in using that one? Or just an oh-so-rare shot of players standing for the national anthem?

Surely someone at SMU can identify a good soccer picture, wouldn't you think?

The picture is before the start of the game with the starting lineups facing the flagpole by the scoreboard for the National Anthem.

Right. But why it was posted is unclear, at best.
Surely there's a picture of Kim Harvey, Jill Heineman, etc. that could have been used, right?

Whats wrong with this picture? I think it sends a great message: kiss our asses. Because they're gonna win another WAC title and no one is gonna stop them.

In reality though, I think it's still a good picture... they're singing the national anthem and it shows Wescott, etc.
