Schellas Hyndman

He had a rough start with FC Dallas, as he didn't have his own players in place yet, but check out what he's up to now (after FCD beat DC United last night):

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Eric Alexander scored his first career goal and FC Dallas beat D.C. United 3-1 on Saturday night to stretch its road unbeaten streak to nine, tying the MLS record.

Congratulations, Coach. Keep it up!

Team is playing very well. Hope it continues and we can go far into the playoffs. Unfortunately, the fall games always seem to conflict with SMU football. I wish MLS would begin play in the winter and end in late summer.

I watched some of the game-channel surfing between the Nationals and United. Schellas clearly had United (which is reeling anyway) on its heels the entire game. The guy can flat out coach on the pitch. The announcer was gushing over FC-Dallas' alignment and crisp passing. Perhaps, we got a little spoiled by having a coach of his calibre here for so long.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
