Alenbratt Named C-USA Athlete of the Week

Alenbratt was named C-USA Athlete of the Week for her strong showing at the UT Arlington Season Opener

IRVING, Texas (SMU) --- SMU's Mary Alenbratt was named Conference USA Female Cross Country Athlete of the Week by the league office, today. Alenbratt, a sophomore from Bohus, Sweden, finished second this past weekend with a two-mile time of 11:07.74 at the UT Arlington Season Opener.

Alenbratt was the top runner for SMU, who as a team placed four runners in the top nine finishers, during the UTA Season Opener.

The No. 22 Mustangs return to action at the Notre Dame Invitational on Oct. 1.
