We should win but expect a very difficult game. This is the "sweet 16" and Tulsa has a very good team that was ranked during most of the season.

I think it could be a high scoring game like 3-2 or 4-3. Tulsa may figure they can only beat us by trying to score a lot more goals. The one negative is the yellow card last night on Mynor Gonzales. Isn't the NCAA tournament rule, two yellows and you sit out the next tournament game? I'd hate to lose him for any game.

I thought the rule was THREE yellow cards and you have to sit. SMU actually had a role in a related rule change. It used to be that if you got five yellows in a season, you had to sit out a game. About 10 years ago, SMU midfielder Giampaulo Pedroso got his fifth yellow card in the last regular season game of the year. He sat out the Ponies' first-round playoff game against UCLA, and the Ponies lost. Coach Hyndman was active in the effort to change the rule so that the season total starts over at the beginning of the postseason. For whatever that's worth ....
SMU 3
Tulsa 0

Is the start time for Saturday's game still 7:30, or is it 7:00 like I saw on another website, OR is it 5:30 like the Dallas Morning News keeps putting in the newspaper?
I wouldn't miss this game for anything..I want to be there early!
