Postby Charleston Pony » Sat Aug 03, 2013 11:52 am

while Tiger leads the big boys at the WGC-Bridgestone, Colt will tee off today T-6 in Reno, a tourney with a $3 mil purse. Colt needs to earn some hefty checks soon if he hopes to finish among the top 125 money winners this year

he's earned about $147k year to date and # 125 has currently earned $530k

have to wonder whether his conditioning is affecting those 3rd and 4th rounds, but at least he's making cuts and making a living doing what he loves

Yes. Wouldn't mind making $150k playing golf. But I am sure it is still a grind. Lot different when you have to do something for a living.

Sorry to see him tail off the last two days. I thought this might be his turnaround tournament. But August in Nevada has to be tough on a heavyset guy.

Anyone know why he lists the Texas Longhorns as his favorite college team under personal notes on his PGA Tour profile? No Pony love?
