W-Soccer: SMU at UConn

After looking at the box, corners should have been 10-9 - they missed an SMU short corner in the first half.

I agree it's hard to sugarcoat the shot totals DarkHorse. UConn did fire away - especially in the first half - once they realized they could score from distance.

Credit to SMU for playing its game though. Normally when you see a ridiculous shot total like that you think a team parked the bus. Not the case tonight.

On the whole tonight, good chances were pretty even between the teams.

As a UConn grad, this one is a hard one for me. I will however, be cheering loudly when I go to the game Sunday at Temple. Anyone else out there who might be going?
