The first mcla coaches poll is out. SMU received four votes.

Adding lax would be nice but after the big east fell apart I don't know how we can afford it. I still choose to live during the days of the initial big east announcement when we were talking about 10mil+ and adding sports.

Believe it or not, the club lacrosse team gains enough respect to have meetings with the AD. Essentially, without an endowment, D1 lacrosse at SMU won't happen.

2. AAC Championships in FB and BB
3. Lacrosse as a Div. 1 Varsity Sport (I love the game.) Great for spectators, plus my son played for SMU.

They are far from d1 caliber. And hopefully we can run with them this year...they've had our number lately.

Both rosters have great defense and goalie play while spreading out the scoring so shutting down one player won't get you the W.

Also, they won't play each other until the conference tourney.
