Believe it or not, the club lacrosse team gains enough respect to have meetings with the AD. Essentially, without an endowment, D1 lacrosse at SMU won't happen.

My three wishes for SMU:

1. New Natatorium
2. AAC Championships in FB and BB
3. Lacrosse as a Div. 1 Varsity Sport (I love the game.) Great for spectators, plus my son played for SMU.

SMU 13
LSU 10

Solid first win of the season vs a very much improved LSU team. They'll shock some teams this season.

Wow. Nice run. How we would we match with UT? They think they are d-1 caliber. No idea how close they are.

Great job SMU Lax!! Such an excited and fun game to watch. Really needs to be D1 at SMU (men's and women's!)

They are far from d1 caliber. And hopefully we can run with them this year...they've had our number lately.

Both rosters have great defense and goalie play while spreading out the scoring so shutting down one player won't get you the W.

Also, they won't play each other until the conference tourney.
