Janelle Giordano was named the Lobo Classic MVP. Avery Acker and Cailin Bula were named to the all-tournament team.

SMU has another big tournament next weekend at the UC-Santa Barbara Invitation, where the Mustangs will play No. 23 San Diego, No. 25 Ucla, and UCSB.

Great win last night. Winning that fifth set will give us some good momentum heading into next week.

I was so glad we won. Those New Mexico announcers were the some of the most annoying and biased I have ever heard. Plus, I hated the way 5 overcelebrated every Lobos point. I would have hated to see her win the tournament.

Somehow, SMU did not have any players honored this week by The American. I know the conference had a big week but Giordano should have at least made the honor roll as a tournament MVP.

This week's rankings came out today. Ucla is No. 17 and San Diego is No. 18.

Next weekend could be huge for the Mustangs if we can get a big win (or two).
