SMU finishes +4 and qualifies for the NCAAs!

Georgia, Georgia State, Vanderbilt, SMU, and UCLA advance from San Antonio.

Georgia, Georgia State, Vanderbilt, SMU, and UCLA. What is ironic is the medalist was from TCU. He double bogeyed the last hole to knock them out of tie with UCLA for the last spot.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

What is the format for the championship next week? I know 30 make it.

SMU headed to the NCAAs for the first time since 2005!

"Today is a huge day for SMU golf and a major step for the program," SMU head coach Josh Gregory said. "I'm so proud of these guys. Today was tough and a grind, and we made it a lot tougher than it should have been, but it's all about surviving and advancing. We are honored to represent SMU at the NCAA Championships and we cannot wait to compete. Today validates that SMU is becoming a factor in college golf."

Very big deal in golf, and that is a market that is prime for SMU. We have a really great coaching/ recruiting staff in golf. Another example of what can happen if you hire the right people.

It's only going to get better. The group at the regional consisted of a freshman, 3 sophs, and a senior. The only one we lose next year is Higgs. I don't think Bryson will leave after this year so we have him for at least another year. Coach Gregory is serious when he talks National Championships. I think it will happen in the not too distant future.

Congrats to the team Coaches Gregory & Enloe on making it to the NCAA Championship, this is huge.
First trip back since '05 and very well deserved. That pressure the last day of Regionals is something to be experienced. Congrats team, kick some [deleted] at the NCAA Championship!
