Swimming: Jennifer Basel, of Sterling, VA signed her letter of intent to attend and swim for Southern Methodist University in fall 2005. Basel was named the Speedo and National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association of America Swimmer of the Year in 2003. Basel currently swims for the Ashburn Swim Team.
