Interesting footnote about Dallas Co. DA Bill Hill
Posted: Sat Feb 19, 2005 3:22 pmGraduated from Garland High School, where he was president of his sophomore, junior and senior classes. Inducted into the Garland Sports Hall of Fame. As a senior, recorded the fastest time in the nation in the 220-yard dash. Attended Southern Methodist University and was captain of the 1963-64 nationally ranked track team. He was a member of relay teams that set school records in the sprint, mile, 880-yard and sprint medley. The team's record in the 880-yard relay stood into the 1980s. Graduated from the SMU law school in 1967.
