Paul Broome

It occurred to me that SMU grad Paul Broome was traded a couple of years ago from Dallas to L.A., and since he didn't get on the field tonight, I looked him up to see if he's still on the L.A. roster. Turns out he is -- all is well.
However, as I read through his official bio, I saw this:
"Started 66 of 76 games in four years at SMU … finished college career with 23 goals and 16 assists … earned First Team All-Western Athletic Conference honors in 1998 … etc., etc."
Really? I don't think men's soccer ever was a WAC-recognized sport. Where do they get this? That's sad that they didn't know his conference.
It would be even more embarrassing if that's the information they got directly from SMU.
