The Dallas Texans Red 87 (Texas North) won the National Under 18 Youth soccer Championship in July with a 3-0 win over the PDA Conquistadors (New Jersey). There are 7 SMU recruits on the Texans club. The initial goal was scored by SMU signee Ryan Mirsky.

The adidas Golden Boot award is awarded annually by adidas to the players in each division who have the greatest competitive impact in the US Youth Soccer National Championships. SMU signee Richard Oliva of Dallas Texans 87 Red won this award at the championship.

What a great class by Schellas. Cannot wait for the season to start.

No kidding. Best coach in the country has become quite possibly the best recruiter in the country.
Although, to be fair, (former assistant) Brent Erwin did an awful lot on the recruiting trail. It will be interesting to see how recruiting changes - if at all - with him no longer on the staff.

Way to go Mustangs. It seems that our soccer future is bright even if our football future is not.

Our soccer past, present and future are very bright. Damn-near blinding.
And football's coming -- not there yet, but it's coming.

Our soccer program is fantastic but I would love to see the Mustangs do really well in the playoffs. As for football, I will believe it when I see it.
