Fayetteville, Ark. - SMU's Gaelle Niare finished in a sixth-place tie in the high jump at Friday's 2006 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship held at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. The junior from Montrveil, France, posted a mark of 1.80 meters to net 2.5 points for SMU and earn All-America honors for the second straight season. Niare was SMU's lone representative in this year's championships.
North Carolina's Sheena Gordon won the high jump title with a leap of 1.86 meters.
