The Ponies face a tough pre-NCAA tournament test tonight against MVC Bradley. Bradley is posed to win the MVC, it has a 11-3-2 record and is riding a six-game unbeaten streak. By earning either a win or a tie at SMU, Bradley would match the third-longest unbeaten streak in program history at seven games. During SMU’s five years as a Valley member from 2000 through 2004, the Mustangs amassed a 47-8-4 (.831) regular-season (38-6-2) and postseason (9-2-2) record but managed only an 3-3-3 record against Bradley. In fact, the Braves dealt SMU its only Valley home loss with a 2-1, overtime victory at Westcott Field, Oct. 10, 2003. Should be a great game and a good chance to get the lost to Kentucky behind us. That loss will probably cost us the CUSA regular season championship because if Tulsa wins Friday against UAB, it will finish one point ahead in the final standings. Let's have a good crowd tonight. Go Ponies!
