As expected, we kicked their butts, 143-101 and won 9 of the 13 events.

Nice work. Way to go to their place and deliver the knockout blow!!

We're 5-1 this season.

Water Pony - what's up with the 150 yard events? The NCAA isn't now holding races at that distance are they?

Head coach Eddie Sinnott. "Certainly the highlight was seeing four seniors win the last relay. We were able to use the unorthodox race distances to work on some different aspects of our races."

There must have been agreement between the coaches to use these non-dual meet distances as a way to add variety. Instead of 100 yd back, breast and fly, they swam a 50 yard races, which are rarely done. Same for the 150 yard distances vs. 200 yards. That is six events with non-traditional distances.

It is one way to set records.
