Was there a change in the game time for the match on Friday? The LSA webpage shows the game to be at 9:30 pm. Did I misread that?

Why ask here? Lax is great, but it's not a varsity sport at SMU.
If LSA has a website, contact them. Enjoy the game.

While Lacrosse is not a varsity sport at SMU, it is a club sport being played by SMU students. When they take the field they are representing Southern Methodist University, and as such, they deserve to have the recognition and support of those who might be interested in SMU athletics.
I did contact the LSA website, that was the reason for my question. Thanks for the insightful post, and yes, I will enjoy the game. Especially when we beat the Longhorns.

They do? We can agree to disagree, I guess.
Club sports are great (I played rugby at SMU). My reaction to GrapevineMustang's post was just that it was an odd place to ask, since this site only seems to cover varsity sports. Lacrosse (like rugby) seems to have a niche following, and that's cool.

most of my Lacrosse threads get over 200 views...so varsity or not, i'll keep posting until a moderator tells me to stop...
no where on the site does it say that 'other sports' are for soccer and chick sports only, so I figured this would be the best spot...should I post in around the hilltop? what varsity sports are covered there ikus?
SMU vs TEXAS tomorrow night in Texas Stadium, 7pm. Beer will be sold in the stadium. SMU fans & alumni are tailgating. Get rowdy and Go Stangs!

The Mustangs were killed 15-6. SMU was up 3-1 early before UT went on a 13-1 run...all around poor effort to start the second quarter...led to several unnecessary penalties out of frustration. inexcusable. the mustangs graduate 0 players, so in theory everyone should be back next year. same old story of smu beating who they are supposed to beat and losing who they are supposed to lose to.
Aggie beat UNT 9-8 tonight. LSA Final tomorrow at 7pm. Aggie vs Longhorn.
