I'm calling it — we're beating ECU in round one.

If the ponies can pull of the 1st round win then second round looks good too!

Friday, November 7 (Semifinals)
Match 5 - Winner of ECU/SMU vs. UTEP/CC - 5 p.m.
Match 6 - Winner of Memphis/UAB vs. UCF/Rice - 7:30 p.m.

We beat UTEP and only lost to CC 1-2......if the girls play well this weekend and get their offense going, we could be in the Conference Final!!!

Everything they have gone through this season (Notre Dame, USC) leads up to this weekend. Best of wishes to the entire time! We all believe you can do it!

It would be an upset, but I'm told the loss to ECU was about as close as a loss can be, and that we didn't even play that well. Turn in a good performance, and they can be beaten.

Here's hoping that everything comes together in the Conference tourney.

Looked like a lot of reserves got some minutes against Tulsa, which is good - rest the starters, get some PT for those on a crowded bench. We really had nothing to play for, other than staying healthy. Hopefully they're rested and ready to whip ECU in Houston!

In the first meeting shots were almost even and the Mustangs had a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks. ECU had six OT games in conference and emerged with 2 wins and 4 ties. If the Ponies put it all together on Wednesday, they can knock out the #1 seed.
