SMU Sailing Team #1
Posted: Sun Oct 18, 2009 8:23 pmThe SMU Sailing Team Received a first place win at the SEISA Baylor regatta on October 18th, the second regatta of the season. This follows a fourth place win at the Troy Swetnam Memorial Regatta at Galveston on September 26th, their first regatta of the season, which qualifies the team for the Kathryn Hammond Texas Regatta in Austin on October 24th.
The SMU Sailing team has been showing a marked improvement this season, sweeping the scoreboards at both regattas so far. As of yet, the team remains a promising candidate for an invitation to the national spring championships in Boston.
