Women are up 2-0 at half against Tulsa. This would be a huge win for them if they hold on.

Memphis up 1-0 over UAB at half. If Memphis wins and we beat Tulsa, it will be tournament time for the Mustangs.

Memphis UAB tied 1-1 with less than 10 to go in regular time. We need either a Memphis win or tie to advance to the tournament without having to wait on the Marshall East Carolina result from tomorrow night.

3-1 SMU with 6 to play. Memphis and UAB in OT. We need Memphis to pull this out.

So this one is in the bag - good win for the team and nice use of the roster. We don't usually see this much substituting and it's a nice change. Not good is that Shepherd went out early in the first with a bad knee.

UAB just scored 4 minutes into OT. So now we wait. :(

If we end up tied with uab, what is the tiebreaker? Does our victory over them make a difference>

We can't tie them - they are 5-4-2 and we're 5-5-1 so they have 17 points to our 16.

UAB beat Memphis in OT 2-1. It now has 17 points to our 16. If Marshall with 15 points wins tomorrow over East Carolina at Marshall we are out. If they tie, does anyone know who holds the tie breaker?

I would imagine our 1-0 loss to Marshall at home several weeks ago will come back to haunt us unless Marshall somehow loses. Too bad since the tournament is at our house.

Marshall is pathetic. They don't deserve to be in the tournament ahead of the Ponies. We led in every stat versus them except the one that counts. Their wins have come against schools I've never heard of: Cleveland St., Duquesne, Winthrop, Radford, Ohio, Tennessee Tech. How the h___ did they beat UAB in 2OT last week after losing 4 straight in the conference? Come on Pirates!!

I'm not sure why you think they're pathetic - their conference losses are all the same as ours except for Tulsa. But if they pull off a win or tie tomorrow the only stat that matters is that they beat us. Of course you're right that their preseason wasn't as strong a schedule as ours but right now they are in the driver's seat and all we can do is watch.

Because I saw them play. I wasn't impressed at all. Ponies were the better team that night and have improved significantly since then.
