Three Women's Soccer Players Earn All-Conference Honors

Three Players Honored With All-C-USA Selections

IRVING, Texas- Three SMU players were selected by Conference USA on Tuesday for all-league honors. Defender Kaitlyn Eidson was named second-team All-Conference USA , Midfielder Kristin Medeiros was named the third-team All-Conference USA, and midfielder Mallory Baum was named to the C-USA All-Freshman team.
Kaitlyn Eidson was second among SMU outfield players with 1547 minutes played, and played all but 9 minutes (1001 total) during the C-USA season. She currently has an active streak of 920 minutes played, one that spans over all 11 C-USA games. Eidson registered one assist on the season, on October 25th against Southern Miss.
Kristin Medeiros was one of three Mustangs to start every match this season, and now has started 34 straight games, dating back to last season. Medeiros' three assists are second-best on the team, and she also has a goal to her credit. She leads SMU outfield players with 1588 minutes played, and played all but 23 minutes in C-USA play.
Mallory Baum scored the game-winning goal against Rice and also has started every game this season. She has played 80 minutes or more in 13 of 18 games this season, and played all but 51 minutes (959 total) during C-USA play. She started her career with 355 consecutive minutes played over SMU's first four games
SMU will take on Memphis in the first round of the C-USA Tournament at Westcott Field tomorrow, November 4 at 7:30 p.m.
