Mustang Junior Earns First Career League Award

IRVING (C-USA/SMU) - Mustang Tia Gannon has been named Conference USA Golfer of the Week, the league office announced today. The junior was SMU's top finisher at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, carding a career-low 54-hole total of 229 (76-75-78). Her second-round score of 75 also tied her career-low round.
This marks Gannon's first career Golfer of the Week accolade.
Gannon and the Mustangs return to the links March 1-2 at the UCF Invitational in Orlando.
