SMU Cycling

The SMU Mustang cycling club is a member of the South Central Collegiate Cycling Conference and competes with all of its former rivals in the old Southwest Conference, including TCU, UT, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Baylor, Houston and Rice as well as OU, UNT, LSU, and Midwestern State.

Since September of last year, members of the cycling club have won two State Championships, won numerous victories including the televised TxTough (Texas Tough) Grand Prix in Dallas, and hosted a Collegiate race that was had the highest number of conference schools attend. This year we expect to send a competitive team to Collegiate nationals in May. We also welcome any faculty staff and alumni to participate, especially in support of the student cyclist.
