No. 10 Marta Lesniak Qualifies For USTA/ITA National Indoors
Lesniak Now 90-16 In Her Career, Ties For Fourth At SMU In Wins

LOS ANGELES (SMU) - No. 10 Marta Lesniak automatically qualified for the USTA/ITA National Indoor Women's Tennis Championships by advancing to the quarterfinal of the 2011 Riviera/ITA All-American in Los Angeles. Lesniak topped No. 4 Denise Dy of Washington then No. 9 Chelsey Gullickson of Georgia before falling 6-3, 6-0 to Robin Anderson of UCLA in the third round. Anderson is the No. 2 ranked newcomer in the NCAA.
This is the second straight year Lesniak has advanced to the elite eight of the ITA All-American and qualified for the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships, which are Nov. 3-6 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
Lesniak is now 5-1 on the season and 90-16 for her career. The 90 career victories puts her in a tie for fourth at SMU with Jenny Langer (2002-05).
