SMU to Build Golf Course

From the Dallas Business Journal:
SMU plans to pony up for large Dallas golf course development

Southern Methodist University plans to pony up an undetermined amount of money for a large Dallas golf course.

It has yet to be determined how much money Southern Methodist University plans to commit to a large Dallas golf course development that could cost upwards of $50 million or more.

This complex will be home to the golf teams as well as the equestrian team.

They are also trying to lure the Byron Nelson tournament.

wish they would have done this 15 years ago, seems like a no brainer. Good for SMU to get our name associated with this. The Cowboys and Rangers should still be in near South Dallas with great views of downtown like other major cities stadiums. what a choke by laura miller and company. Arlington sure seems to be regretting their investment, something Dallas doesn't understand.

watch out for the gators in that part of south dallas.
