Volleyball: Caroline Young Named To Midwest All-Region Team

Caroline Young was named to the American Volleyball Coaches' Association All-Midwest Region Team, and Courtney Manning earned honorable mention, AVCA officials announced Tuesday. Young is one of just 14 sophomores in the country be named all-region, and one of two from the Midwest region.
The Brenham, Texas native finished the season tied for 12th in the NCAA with 51 aces, and was just outside the top 100 in the country in points per set, averaging 4.12 points per set. Young led the Mustangs and finished ninth in Conference USA with 3.39 kills per set, scoring 397 kills, which is sixth in the league.
