In my day we had to play in a men's league in the spring as a regular team. My how things have changed.

Is this the same Trinity University in S.A. that is Div. 3 and doesn't even offer athletic scholarships? Wow- impressive start for the ponies.

Oh, relax. It's an exhibition game. Good health, improved play, experimenting with new player combinations, etc., are far more important than the score. We're going to be good this year.

No - I've looked everywhere I can think of too (I unfortunately could not attend). SMU and Tulsa both pretty much keep their springs under wraps.

Knowing the familiarity of the teams I wouldn't be surprised if it was close to a combined practice session anyway.

I do wonder when we will hear something about the 2013 class. I know sometimes they hold the release for late admissions, scholarship counts with transfers, etc. - but I would have thought we would have heard something by now. Not a big deal, just curious.

DFFH- thanks for the info. I had checked the Tulsa site and could find no info. Was interested because these two teams always seem to have tough games against each other.

When SMU isn't scoring 70 yard goals :( (that was against Tulsa right?)

Yes — twice.

Adam Still scored from 75 yards out when he was a senior. A year or two earlier, Ryan Rosenbaum scored against Tulsa from 95 yards out, earning him National Player of the Week honors!
