Don't plan on leaving town after the football game Friday night on Labor Day weekend because Baylor is coming to Westcott Sunday night September 1.
We need a ton of SMU fans there because we owe them big time and we are going to get them!
Go Ponies!

Thankfully CP and SMU women's soccer aren't afraid of anybody.

Cool. Considering the spring game was more tense than most regular season games that one will definitely be awesome.
Any idea when the full schedule is released?

Good question. They usually come out in May or early June, but I imagine things are running a bit late this year because of the new conference.
I don't believe any of the AAC schools have released their schedule yet.

As if on cue UConn and Louisville have both released their schedules...
The 2013 AAC travel partners are SMU/Houston, UCF/USF, UConn/Temple, Cincinnati/Louisville, and Memphis/Rutgers.
We are at UConn and Louisville is coming to Dallas.
It also looks like a majority of the conference games are going to be Thursday/Sunday instead of Friday/Sunday which will obviously impact school somewhat but will definitely be better for the soccer.

The game at UConn is the conference opener!
As a matter of fact, the start of the conference schedule looks like @UConn, @Temple, Louisville, Cincinnati.

Do you happen to know the date of the game at Temple?

It should be the afternoon of Sunday, September 29. That would be awesome if you can go!

Some interesting schedule releases today...
The Memphis and USF schedules are out, which pretty much fills in the remainder of the conference schedule - which should be close to this:
26 Sep @UConn
29 Sep @Temple
3 Oct Louisville
6 Oct Cincinnati
10 Oct @Memphs
13 Oct @Rutgers
24 Oct USF
27 Oct UCF
We would play Houston on the weekend of Oct 17-20.
Also of note, TCU released their schedule and the froggies will be at Westcott on Sept. 12.
The really interesting one is Colorado State which says they will be at SMU at noon on Friday, August 30 (the day of the Tech football game!).

Cool. Houston will be at Westcott Friday night, Oct. 18 - so the full conference slate should be:
26 Sep @UConn
29 Sep @Temple
3 Oct Louisville
6 Oct Cincinnati
10 Oct @Memphs
13 Oct @Rutgers
18 Oct Houston
24 Oct USF
27 Oct UCF
We are up to 8 known home games (with Baylor, Colorado State, and TCU) which is already more than we had last year and quite a bit of the schedule is still to come.

when these teams go to a city like Philly (Temple) New York (Rutgers) do they visit these cities? do they get some down time to take in the sites? It would be fun if this was so. Or do they simply stay in a close by hotel, play the game and leave?

They probably get to walk around a little, but these trips aren't like the trips to bowl games, where the team is in town for several days and there are sponsors wanting the players to make appearances around town.

The Temple soccer teams actually play their home games about 15 miles away from their center city Philly campus. The town they play in is Ambler, PA. My guess is the team will stay in a hotel closer to the athletic complex.
