SMU finishes off Memphis 3-1 (25-13, 24-26, 25-11, 25-17).
An excellent performance by the Mustangs. I'm not sure if the team let up a bit in the early second since the first was so easy, or maybe Memphis had one good set in them playing at home, but the scores of the other sets are pretty indicative of how much better SMU was tonight.
Abbey Bybel ends up leading SMU with 15 kills. Caroline Young had 14. Maddie Lozano and Kristen Stehling each had 11.
Avery Acker finishes with 55 assists. Morgan Heise had 18 digs, and Acker had 10 as well.
Great win for the Mustangs tonight! SMU heads to Philadelphia to face Temple Sunday at noon Dallas time.
Go Ponies!
