SMU will be in Tampa Saturday night to face the Bulls in a crucial American match.

The Mustangs (2-2-2) fell to sixth place in the conference with the loss to Memphis Wednesday night. SMU really needs three points Saturday to get back up near the top in the standings.

USF (1-2-3) is currently in eighth place.

There is no reason we should be in sixth place. Let's pull this one out.

USF won 4-1 tonight. Andrew Morales had the SMU goal.

I honestly don't have the strength to run the standings.

SMU is back home next Saturday night against UConn to end the regular season.

This is the worst record in the history of SMU Soccer... there is no excuse for this. NONE with the RETURNING players, Alfred Koroma, one of the best GK in the nation...this is simply a joke.

And from what I hear they had out in a couple of good performances recently. But for me the results speak for themselves. As with all things I give it to the end of the season. Winning the tourney changes everything though right now I don't see that happening.

true. that would change everything. though, personally I dont see that happening. I have been to two home games this season and their performance was terrible. Though... with Schellas leaving FC Dallas... maybe ...:)

I have been following SMU men's soccer since it was a club team and it seems obvious a change is needed in the leadership of the program. I think Hart understands this and will do the right thing. We should be a top 10 program every year. I do not know if Schellas at this point in time is what the program needs. However, with his ties to SMU and the Hunt's, if he really wants to come back , I imagine it will happen.

I don't think Schellas is the answer right now. We need some new thinking.

M-bill, Hart may understand the problem but I have little confidence he will do anything to improve the situation. As you know I have advocated a change for some years. TMc is just not the coach we need.

I hope you are correct but I don't have much confidence in hart to do much. Then again, I know you are much closer to that program than I am.
