Volleyball: SMU at Cincinnati

Postby DanFreibergerForHeisman » Wed Nov 06, 2013 7:48 pm

The Mustangs (16-8, 8-3) are back on the road this weekend starting with a match at Cincinnati (1-24, 1-10) Friday at the odd time of 3pm Central.

Does their court not have lights or something? :)

(actually, they have their home basketball opener Friday night...)

Anyway, SMU is currently in second place in the American, while the Bearcats are in ninth place.

Hopefully Friday will be the first SMU victory over Cincinnati this weekend.

Go Mustangs!!!!!!

The Mustangs are now 9-3 in American play.

Cailin Bula leads the way with 13 kills. Maddie Lozano and Abbey Bybel each added 10 kills.

Great match to watch. If you have never gone to a volleyball match, do yourself a favor and go. This is a good team. Really enjoyed watching them play. They almost pulled out a great rally in the third set to end it, but absolutely blew UC away in the fourth. Good luck against UL on Sunday.

By the way, I am now 2-0 watching SMU play at Cinci. Counting on going 3-0 tomorrow and 4-0 on New Years day.
