The Mustangs wrap up the regular season Wednesday afternoon in Houston against the Cougars at 5pm.
SMU (21-9, 13-4) has had an amazing and exciting season. The Mustangs have clinched second place in the American this season.
Houston (18-14, 10-7) still has an outside shot of moving up into a tie for third with a win.
SMU defeated Houston 3-1 earlier this season in Dallas.

The selection show is on ESPNU at 8:30 tonight.
It is very doubtful SMU is even on the bubble but we'll find out soon enough.

As expected, SMU did not receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament this year.
Still, with most of the regular contributors back next year and what looks like a decent recruiting class, winning the American in 2014 and getting the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament isn't an unrealistic goal at all.
Thanks for a great season!
Go Mustangs!

A little surprised that the Big Ten got so many bids and the American got only one. But Louisville will not be in the League next year. So, we should have a chance to get in the dance.
