W-Soccer: Signing Day 2014

Wednesday is a huge day on The Hilltop, as Chris Petrucelli finally gets to sign his first full class at SMU!
It looks like a good, solid class across the board. We are all looking forward to seeing these players represent SMU this fall.
Here are the players verbally committed to SMU for 2014:
Lauren Guerra - MF/F, 5'7" (Yorba Linda, CA - Esperanza HS) - Slammers FC ECNL U18 (topdrawer 23 SoCal)
Lauren Harrington - D/MF/F, 5'5" (Katy, TX - Seven Lakes HS) - Albion Hurricanes ECNL U18 (35 Texas)
Claire Oates - MF, 6'0" (Long Beach, CA - Wilson Classical HS) - Slammers FC ECNL U18
Chinelo Odobulu - F, 5'7" (Sugar Land, TX - Pope John XIII HS) - Albion Hurricanes ECNL U17 (45 Texas)
Sarah Toelkes - D, 5'8" (Brentwood, CA - Heritage HS) - Pleasanton Rage ECNL U18 (28 NoCal)
Vanessa Valadez - F, 5'8" (Kingwood, TX - Kingwood Park HS) - Challenge SC ECNL U18 (37 Texas)
Honestly, this looks like a great class with some size and quite a bit of versatility. I also get the sense there is some decent speed in these players as well.
Last year SMU and Chris were really good about keeping the fans up to date on the progress of the NLI signing throughout the day. Some of the news might come later in the day with three California players of course.
Tomorrow is going to be a great day! Go Mustangs!
