W-Soccer: Spring 2014 Schedule

It's spring soccer season!
SMU is starting to show up on some spring schedules around the region.
Dates so far:
Mar 30 (2pm) at Stephen F. Austin
Apr 12 (1pm) Oklahoma State
Apr 18 (7pm) at North Texas

SMU will be in Nacogdoches Sunday afternoon to face Stephen F. Austin in a spring match at 2pm.
The Lumberjacks were the regular season Southland Conference champions with a record of 16-3-3 (10-1-1) and lost their conference championship tournament final in penalties.
SFA features two returning second-team NSCAA All-Central Region players in forward Chelsea Raymond and defender Megan Dunnigan.

SFA won 3-0 today.
The Mustangs are home next Saturday to face Texas State.

SMU will play Texas State Saturday afternoon at Westcott Field with a start time of 2pm.
The Bobcats were 8-9-2 last season and 4-3-1 in the Sun Belt.

SMU defeated Texas State 1-0 this afternoon. Taylor Barg scored on a cross from Kelsey Gorney. Lauryn Bodden had the shutout.
The Mustangs face Oklahoma State at Westcott next Saturday at 1.

SMU announced this morning the Oklahoma State game Saturday has been cancelled.

I had a feeling we might come up short at some point this spring when we only were able to dress 12 for the Texas State game.
Hopefully we can get healthy this week and get the North Texas game in next Friday.

SMU announced the Friday night game against North Texas is cancelled as well.
