W-Swimming: SMU At NCAA Championships

SMU set a school record of 3:31.66 in the 400-yard medley relay at the NCAA Championships Thursday in Minneapolis. The Mustangs finished 11th in the event, meaning Nina Rangelova, Isabella Arcila, Rachel Nicol, and Marne Erasmus earned All-America honors.

SMU had a nice second day of the NCAA Championships. The Mustangs are in 14th place after day two.

Marne Erasmus finished 3rd, breaking her own school record, in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.10 earning All-America honors.

Tara-Lynn Nicholas also earned All-America honors with an 8th-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.

SMU ended up finishing 20th, with six All-America honors.

Way to go Lady Mustangs. Great finish to the season. Even better, you delivered Personal Best's at NCAAs. That is the time to do it. Pony Up!

Great result. Almost pulled some points in the 400 Free relay. 20 is good. A couple of younger swimmers got to see what its like as well. Great things in the future for Coach Collins.

I was in on conversations with Ken Pie's (mmmmmmm pie) underlings about aggressively moving to purchase any properties coming up for sale, or initiating contact about a possible sales of properties, east of Central Express back in the early 90's. We were for the most part pooh-poohed. Another great incite for the future of SMU, the fat [deleted] from Duke provided us.
