W-Swimming: Rangelova Sets Bulgarian National Record

Recently-graduated SMU women’s swimmer Nina Rangelova set the Bulgarian National Record in the 50-meter freestyle this past weekend at the Bill Nixon Memorial Swim Meet. The Plovdiv, Bulgaria, native posted a 25.81 on the 50-meter long course for the new standard.

“I am very excited and proud of Nina’s performance this weekend,” Head Coach Steve Collins said. “It is exciting to see her setting records as she trains this summer for the European Championships.”
