SMU volleyball gets the 2014 season underway this weekend at the San Francisco Invite.

This season shapes up as potentially historic for SMU volleyball with the Mustangs entering the year as the favorites in The American - where winning the conference would give SMU its first NCAA bid in program history.

This weekend, SMU will face host San Francisco Friday night at 8:30pm Texas time.

Saturday, the Mustangs will face both Georgia (12:30pm) and Fordham (7pm).
