SMU has its home opener Friday night at 7:30 against Duke at Westcott Field.

The Mustangs are 0-2-0 to start the season, with a tough 1-0 loss at No. 10 Michigan State and a loss at Michigan last weekend.

The Blue Devils come into this match at 1-0-1 after defeating Stetson and drawing with Loyola Marymount to start the season.

Published attendance is 1447 - which seems pretty legit.

Loud and involved (even some drums).

Obviously, the MOB points help, but the majority of the crowd stayed for the whole game and a bunch even stayed to greet the players after the game.

A really nice moment for SMU athletics last night.

I use to like and respect Duke, until Duke tried to convict and jail those 3 innocent lacrosse players. now I almost put them at the level of Penn State.

Hey, they only had 200 professors sign a petition printed in the school paper convicting the players even before there was an investigation. People who teach students who did not believe in the concept of innocent before proven guilty. Even Duke has their left wingers.
