Equestrian: Exhibition vs. Baylor

The 2014-15 Equestrian season is just around the corner - and SMU has an exhibition this Saturday against Baylor at Sleepy P Ranch in Bartonville.

Carol Gwin takes the reins as head coach of SMU, with hunt seat coach Natalie Burton and western coachTrista Adkins both returning.

The Mustangs return most of their top riders from last season, and have added a nice group of freshmen as well.

The regular season starts in two weeks at the Willis Invitational in Waco where SMU will face Baylor, UT-Martin, and Fresno State.

Baylor won 10-8 in the exhibition today. SMU won hunt seat 6-3, and Baylor won western 7-2.

As usual in the exhibition events, a lot of the young riders from both teams got some experience.
